This virtual Arabic language course focuses on listening and speaking, helping you to build your confidence, improve your pronunciation and increase your vocabulary, by presenting a variety of topics and situations useful for everyday work and social interactions.
The Pre-intermediate Level (up to CEFR Level A2+) is suitable for participants who have had previous contact with Arabic and are familiar with basic phrases and vocabulary related to areas of most immediate personal relevance (e.g. personal information, introductions, employment).
The course will consolidate previous knowledge and introduce vocabulary and simple phrases in Arabic to help you handle short social exchanges, describe people, places, plans, and recent activities. You will be presented with a variety of listening and speaking tasks as well as pronunciation practice.
A small amount of revision and/or preparation work will be advised for each lesson (apart from the 1st lesson). We will recommend relevant apps to help you build up your grammar and vocabulary between lessons.
