This virtual Mandarin language course focuses on listening and speaking, helping you to build your confidence, improve your pronunciation and increase your vocabulary, by presenting a variety of topics and situations useful for work and social interactions.
The Intermediate Level (up to CEFR Level B1+) is suitable for participants who can communicate in Mandarin on a variety of familiar topics regularly encountered in social and work situations.
The course will consolidate previous knowledge and expand on topics of personal or professional interest. Relevant vocabulary and phrases will be introduced accordingly. You will be encouraged to take part in short discussions as well as describe in detail experiences and future plans to help you improve your confidence and spontaneity when using the language.
A small amount of revision and/or preparation work will be advised for each lesson (apart from the 1st lesson). We will recommend relevant apps to help you build up your grammar and vocabulary between lessons.
The Intermediate course prerequisite is at least 90 hours of previous studies.
